History of our School
Bishop Thomas Kurialacherry (BTK) school for the Mentally Challenged, Santhi Nilayamwas established in 1993, at Paruthivilai, 8 K.m away from Nagercoil,in Kanyakumari District. It is run by the sisters of the Adoration of the Blesses Sacrament, St. Chanthal's Region, Tamilnadu. Inspired by the vision ofour heavenly patron, we started this school at paruthivilai to improve the living condition of the mentally challenged children. We are working under Thuckalay Diocese. Our regional Superior's and our Chaplain's timely advice and guidance help us a lot to strive forward in the path of progress.

Our Special Services
Physiotherapy
The main aim is to reduce their physical deformities and increase their mobility.Children show interest to get physiotherapy.Parents also are happy to send their children to school.
Speech Therapy
Speech therapy is the most important part of intervention services for children with developmental disability for their cognitive and social development.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy is given to help the students to increase their functional independence in daily life,Periodical assessment is conducted by Occupational therapist.
